Re: Word Zendo

Top of the page update: Student evilkeen, I am sorry to say that the buddha approves of neither an oven nor a barbecue . He would much rather use a stove to cook his meals. BUDDHA'S BEAUTIES BassBloke, brown, chocolate, foxes, Gromit, just right, kiwis, mass, Mexico, New Zealand, newspaper, pnward, ...

Re: iSSUE 2

Thank you for the magazine! I'm slightly annoyed that my name on the envelope was spelt 'kinglsley' but I'm sure it was just a typo. The magazine looks great though.

As giraffe said, I have been making some progress. I managed to work out what to do with one of the puzzles and have started it!

Re: Word Zendo

Student evilkeen, this may sound rather strange, but the buddha likes neither women nor men.

Having said that, there are some people on this forum who he is rather fond of (he likes BassBloke and pnward), but there are some which he dislikes (Bunnylump and Scurra are examples).

Re: Word Zendo

Student giraffe, the buddha dislikes both Christmas pudding and Syrup-sponge pudding. Student Bunnylump, once again the buddha likes neither holly nor ivy , as he thinks that they are both hideous plants. Perhaps a hint, the buddha is fond of things that are woven , but not of things that have been ...

Student LAT, the budda does prefer to get his news from a newspaper rather than use the internet.

Re: Word Zendo

Ok then, it looks like it's my turn. The budda has told me that he has a sweet tooth, but although he likes chocolate he dislikes cake . To save Scurra from asking, he like neither apples or bananas , although he does rather like raspberries and kiwis . BUDDHA'S BEAUTIES BassBloke chocolate kiwis ne...

If it is right then I'll have to come up with one of my own! :? I'll apologise in advance if it's not very good. I'll also need to read through the other pages to see what has already been used, because I only joined in on about page 13!

Re: Word Zendo

I would like to make a guess at the rule.

I think that the budda likes words which have either an ascender(s) or a descender(s), but not both.

Re: Word Zendo

Would the budda write his Christmas list with a pen to a pencil?
LAT wrote:Do you have a reason for supporting Reading?
Yes, I was born there, as was fernando, and I have supported them for about 3 years, ever since I noticed they were in the news for being promoted to the Premiership.

Re: Eleven Plus

I've just done that test and I got 15/15 with 5:13 left on the clock.

I did the 11+ tests 3 years ago, and although I found it relatively easy because my brain has progressed in the last 3 years, I thought it was harder than the tests I did do 3 years ago.

I just won't change it and leave it how it is now! I never notice the time on this website anyway so there's not really much point in me changing it.
