Re: Tapestry

We were fortunate, we live on a golf course and were able to mostly live life as normal. We are all vaccinated and although things are...

Tapestry

In one of the early Puzzlebrains, there was reference to a tapestry. I've lost the old magazines in our massive move, but am looking for information on that tapestry in the magazine. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: Passing the time

I should be working on PuzzleBrains, but George and I bought a book and just love it. www.Journal29.com

We've managed half the book in a day. Good fun though.

old puzzle brains issues

Sorry for being thick, but when I log into puzzlebrains.com, I no longer see the previously purchased issues. Am I doing something wrong?

Gifting Puzzle brains

I'm interested in giving the gift of puzzlebrains to a puzzler. Can you let me know how I can go about this?

Re: The New Future of Puzzlebrains...

I've finally come to a (tiny-limited) point in my PhD where I have a bit of breathing room. Thanks to a pm sent out to the group I came back and looked at the site. Has it really been a year since I've been here? Kickstarter! Sign me up! Please post on FB when you put it up. A couple of questions: C...

Re: I'm Busy Reading....

I mainly switched over to ebooks about a year ago. Mainly because the cost of books here have a mark up of about 20% over the cover charge. Add to that the 10:1 exchange rate and the cost is prohibitive. Being the devourer of books that I am, I went to a kindle reader for my iPad. Reading this, I th...

Re: ebook readers

I've had a laptop/notebook/netbook since the early 90's. I love the things. And there is no way I would get rid of mine. But, those days when I have to schlep across town and take notes during those insanely long meetings, the iPad wins. Each has its own merits, and I wouldn't try to get anyone to g...

Re: ebook readers

I use docs to go all the time. I also use iannotate pdf. I love both programs! The latter for reading all those endless articles on, and since I can take it with me I'm in heaven. I highlight to my hearts content with that program, add notes, write all over the documents. The only complaint I have w...

Re: ebook readers

This is just sad. I'm snowed under most of the year and Christmas comes around and I have time to read posts. I wanted an ebook reader, and spotted a co-worker reading pdf's during a rather tedious meeting. Looked again, and realized he was on an ipad. Now I'm sure many will groan at this, but that'...
