OK, there are a couple of numbering errors in my crossword. Sorry about that. They shouldn't get in the way too much.

They are very minor - and obvious. So no problem! I am still working through some of the ambiguities to find all the words, but hopefully nearly there...

I have also been coming back to this from time to time but not making a great deal of progress. The revised version is interesting but mainly serves to confirm some of the ones I thought I already had!

Hope your Dad is feeling a bit more settled for the time being, away from the pressures in hospital. But it must all be very stressful.

Well that took longer than it should have done - but as you say, there is not much doubt when you spot the answer!!

In my previous post I was just suggesting that you looked closely at what was left, as I thought it helped to understand the context of the actual answer words. But I had not reached a final conclusion. I now spotted something that they seem to have in common, but am not at all convinced it is right!
