Thanks for the good wishes. Managed to have a few days away near Fettercairn in Aberdeenshire. Unfortunately wifi speed was horrendous so gave up and enjoyed the weather and fields of daffodils.

I did the course in April and I'll be interested to find out how you get on. I have just finished a genealogy one which was brilliant so I'm now having to sort out all my family history stuff. And 'stuff' is the right word as I'm not very organised.

Belated wishes to you all. Afraid I was a bit busy yesterday. Well actually I wasn't as for the first time in years I wasn't doing the food. I had just provided the food and my daughter did all the cooking and, contrary to her brother's expectations, was very good.

Because of family problems I have not used the site so much this year but I do enjoy using it. I'm not strictly on holiday but it feels like it. My daughter and her 2 boys have left to stay for a few nights in a wooden wigwam. Having had them in the house since April it's great having the house to ourselves for a few days.
Although it is very quiet!!!
