Re: Today I've mostly bin...
I think I threw the knex out, that was never a hit in our house, because the pieces were so hard to take apart.

Re: Linkee
We have Linkee, and the "Children" love it, but they don't like the rule where you steal other people's letters. They get great amusement from inventing new words with the letters they have, meaning the game goes on forever, because they don't get the letters they need to spell Linkee.

Re: Music
She's been past grade 8 on tenor sax for the last 6 years , but she needs alto and soprano for a pit band she is in in January. We are borrowing the alto from a friend, but another friend had a soprano for sale, and as it was a good instrument at a reasonable price it seemed like the time to buy. No...
Re: Music
Bagpipes are great, but they need to be played on top of a mountain to be appreciated, and preferably listened to from the top of the next mountain. Definitely not an urban instrument.
Kingsley is having a soprano sax for Christmas, and I might feel the same about that by boxing day!

Re: Passing the time
I might if I had had any pieces of music to sort out!
LAT that link gives me the play arrow, but the sound cut out after the first piece, and then it stopped doing anything.

I'm in London. Feeling slightly jumpy every time I see someone put their hand in a bag! Not going to let them change the way I go about my business though.

Re: Kickstarter puzzles
One of the paths seems t be a certain type of word, but I am still struggling.
In one chain I have the first word and then two words from later on.
The other chain I have the first three words and then two later on. I am struggling to find any words on the left hand side of the puzzle.

Re: The New Future of Puzzlebrains...
I don't remember the puzzle content as am a goldfish brain, just where it was on the page and that I was sat in a certain car park killing time with Kingsley before a music exam. That must show something about my brain that I can remember tiny details but not of the puzzle itself!

Re: The New Future of Puzzlebrains...
Just caught up with last night's discussion , and will post my comment here, as I don't know if Scurra will revisit that thread on FB, and if I message him it won't be visible to others to contradict me. The puzzle that I associate with hooking Kingsley (very much a beginner in every sense as she wa...
