So if it isn't something to do with Acadamian Macadamians (which I can't force into the right shape), then I still have no idea. Nid cloo.

Re: Today I've mostly bin...

Today I was mostly travelling, from the Isle of Lewis. On the early ferry, one of very few on any routes that were actually sailing. Then driving from Uig on Skye back home. Then going to the office and working to try and fix problems out on the farms.

Re: Rhyme game

Something to do with Macadamias and Academics being tortured and twisted is all my brain is coming up with.

Oh dear. I hope we don't contract it digitally through the forum. We're staying with mum and dad this week, he's just out of hospital again, neither of them are in a good way.

So moving on, we'll try

Re: Rhyme game

Shark bark is quite nice, but it's truly whale wail. (As Scurra also realised, with dropping in a sneaky reference to whaling and gnashing of teeth.)

Re: Well known phrases and sayings

Having got the answer, Scurra's keeping it to himself/only vaguely hinting, so as not to be the one to set a new clue. So I told him to go ahead anyway. (He is doing something similar in the rhyme game now too, in the italicised comment.) https://forum.puzzlebrains.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=106895&sid=a...
