I noticed that compatibility view button earlier today. It doesn't seem to do anything, but I keep accidentally clicking it instead of refresh!

Re: The Night Sky
When I was on my D of E camping, the night was clear and we could see hundreds of stars. It was a very pretty sight! Because the night was clear though, it was very cold, so we settled into our tents when we were quite warm so we didn't freeze. At about 10pm a shout outside came up 'Come and look at...

Re: 1st Puzzlebrains meet/4th DVP meet
I'd like to say thanks to all those mentioned above and also to Scurra for last night's entertainment which fernando is telling us is the best evening of fun he's had in a long time. Unfortunately there are no pictures of me, Looby, Supersleuth and Redfraggle pretending to be dead sheep! (although i...

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Fernando got very angry with me as well because I could only not wobble if I was going quite quickly, so when I was behind him and he braked suddenly because he was heading for the hedge, I would sail right into the back of his bike and we would both end up in a pile. My bike also got attacked by a ...

Re: Finished!!!
Yes, it was all quite good, thank you.
My pieces weren't as good as they've been when I practise, but they were by no means bad. Everything else was quite good, and aural tests were a lot better than I expected, as I was dreading them! I just need to wait for my results now!

He looked at the line up on the interent this morning for the third race, and there isn't a horse beginn...

EDIT: - Re-reading Kingsley's response about HOW she get's the split screen effect reminds me again that people today seem to be taught exclusively by mouse. Has your IT teacher taken you through (or even mentioned) the command line and the fact you can do almost all Icon based clicks through this ...

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
OK, this is the chart I made for my clarinet scales and it's not really a very good example because you can see the whole chart anyway, but it works on a much bigger spreadsheet. It allows you to scroll down while still seeing the column titles and similarly do the same across. If this isn't clear I...

Re: Clever s*ds - help required please!!
Ar. Thanks very much for all your suggestions, but it was the column labels I wanted to change, so that if you were scrolling up and down you could see where you were. We had to do this in IT at school. There are little grey rectangles by the scrolly things that you can move. I'll tyr and put a lin...

When I first read your post I thought you'd been painting trees (as in graffiti)! Well, there might be a couple of odd handprints on a picnic bench near where we were working outside on Thursday! When we were doing a base colour at the beginning, the teacher came up to us and said 'Why...
