That was wonderful! It certainly brought back memories. Peter Hawkins was a master of character voices, and "Professor" Stanley Unwin a genius at the straight face.... I remember watching the Flowerpot men, not to mention Andy Pandy.... (with, of course, Looby Lou :D ). But then, I know I am old! :l...

It is interesting that most schools seem to have broken up already, with Easter being so late! But that is catching people out at the other end, if children have to be back as early as Easter Tuesday

Thank you all. I had my usual birthday 'treat' of a visit to the garden centre and came away with a new clematis to replace a very old one that finally gave up the ghost over the Winter, as well as some new alpines for my wheelbarrow display. :D We also treated ourselves to a meal out which we haven...
