I think it's a server issue again - it should sort itself out.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

I was getting that earlier when I was trying to click on Board Index. Then it (briefly) wouldn't let me on the site at all.

it wasn't stopping me receive messages, just wouldn't send them. But I've managed a couple of short ones so maybe it is getting better.

Hmmm. May have been an issue with your connection (as you wondered.) If anyone else gets a similar error, please be sure to post it. The database here is now getting surprisingly large (it's been running for nearly 15 years!) and so there may be problems with that too.
