Either me or google has decided that I need to be able to translate everthing into spanish.
Wherever my mouse hovers I get a google drop down box that translates the word into Spanish- with several alternatives.

It sounds as if you have the 'Word Translator' switched on.
It appears on the Google toolbar, so it may just be a case of having to disable it.
