Odd looking pages

#1 Post by Bunnylump » Mon Aug 10, 2009 4:17 pm

Is this just me, or is anyone else finding that suddenly all the fonts have changed, sometimes I can't read lines of text and everything is all strange and spread out right across the screen? I'm having to click on non-existent bits on the page about a centimetre away from the actual thing I want to click on to get anywhere. What have I done? This is driving me to distraction!!! Even the smileys look all odd, and the rolly eye one looks like his eyes are falling out.

I've had that a couple of times in the last week. It looked like a rough draft of the page rather than the finished thing, but I assumed my computer was on a go slow. It sorted itself out after a couple of minutes though.

I had a funny screen a couple of weeks ago - I think it was after a Windows Internet Explorer update - but there's a button at the top of my screen (compatibility view, next to refresh and stop) which put everything back to normal.
I had problems getting on PB earlier, and when I did, everything was slow.

I noticed that compatibility view button earlier today. It doesn't seem to do anything, but I keep accidentally clicking it instead of refresh!

Maybe the computer man updated it when he had it while we were away. (At least he fixed the gremlins)

We have just updated the internet explorer and it's been nothing but trouble. Every time I use the rolly thing on the mouse it keeps going up 4 notches and I end up trying to catch things as they go by. It's most probably something to do with it.

I think that is what made our computer go all funny and google went all weird until the man came to sort it out. Are you having any problems with Google???

Lots of things have gone weird. But the forum pages seem to have sorted themselves out, at least for the time being.

Cussen russen computers...

OK this is odd. I have a thread I can't look at the end of (word chain game).

I have also been thrown off PB three times in a row when I'm trying to post replies. Is this just me? Should I be taking this as a hint??

Do you mena word sentence game? It just let me in there and hasn't thrown me off yet, except when I went out to the answrs page, and it always makes me log in again to do that.
