Lack of formatting

#1 Post by evilkeen » Thu Dec 10, 2009 10:50 pm

Is it just me, or is the forum not applying its styles properly? I seem to have no text formatting at all!

Seems OK to me :)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Perhaps you have a tick in the "Disable BBCode" box under the message preparation window?

If it's there by default then you can change this in your user profile settings so it should be empty every time you prepare a message. Go to the User Control Panel and under Board Preferences, look for "Edit Posting Defaults" and set "Enable BBCode by default" to yes.

Hmmm that's interesting....

It's fine again now, but yesterday, when I was using Opera to browse (which I normally do) the style sheets appeared not to be working, i.e. your format changes in those last two posts worked, but the default font, size, background, etc etc didn't. Strangely, when I then viewed the forum using Internet Explorer it all worked fine, and today its fine again in Opera as well. Probably my computer doing something odd. :?
