Yep, I've totally lost the plot now.

That's what happens when you have one way conversations with yourself.
I think we've all been there.

pnward the thing with the medieval calendars is that the months' labours are all slightly different depending upon where they are drawn. The one I found had Jan -man dining by fire, feb -man chopping wood, march man pruning vines, april, woman holding wreath of flowers etc.

Personally, I think the key thing here is that they are representing different months, and as far as I can make out, the months represented are:

Jan, Feb,Mar,Apr,May,(no June) July, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov (no December).

I've tried making the crosses on the spokes letters, no joy, I've tried making them letters reading clockwise and anticlockwise, and also changing direction depending on whether the cross is black or not. I have still no sensible answer. I can't work out what is happening with the black "filling" or the black spokes, as you said. Basically up a gum tree without a paddle or a clue. Again.

aquarius, pices,?,?,?,?,?,?, the mage/wage. scorpio,?,?

bottom row--months and other things.
i get???the April? the new month, the harvest month, august, september, October, november, december

OK I'm totally confused now. I've just gone back on to the website and two extra months have appeared!!! The original one I printed out only had 10 months on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wish the words were a bit more readable. the third picture on the top looks like eva fler. But knowing Scurra hte words aren't important anyway. It must be those circles and crosses tht we haave to look at.

The writing is in German I presume, and probably Medieval German at that. Any experts on Medieval German around? But as you say, I think it is the wheels and markers that we need to interpret. Only question is how?

I tried decoding the suns using the letters of the alphabet and missing out Q and Z as fairly useless letters (although I would argue Z has its uses) Starting at midnight for A, and the beginning of the day as A or the beginning of the nght as A. I didn't get anywhere with any of these methods and wasn't sure if I should start on the line between day and night or the first full day one as A. I didn't like the midnight method as most of them didn't seem to have one pointing straight down, so it was a bit hit and miss. This also assumes I was right when I counted 24, not 25 like someone else did and perhaps missing out Q was wrong.

I have tried the alphabet going clockwise on black cross and anticlockwise on yellow cross and vice versa and then put all results through a cypher decoder and finaly have the answer which is

XQZTYLOKCJ

Unfortunatley Scurras website must have broken as it wont except this as the correct answer.

Ive managed to get ROOMST on the top row and a load of garbage on the bottom, although ROOMST is pretty much garbage as well I guess.

By some fluke I've managed to make a word from the top 6 circles (probably completely wrong), but when I apply same method to the bottom circles it doesn't work - is there anyone I can pm this word to to see if I am on the right track (or not)?
