Crikey, SparkOut is loads younger than me! I suspect bribery and corruption...

I is diabetes. The order of immunisations is being done by decade of birth for those with a pre-existing condition giving elevated risk. Mrs S is even more vulnerable than me, but her birthday falls the other side of 1970, so she will be done in the next decade's cohort.

It also seems to depend a lot on which area you are in. Ours was way behind others for quite some time. They are just starting to catch back up.

I reckon a lot could depend on how many people in each category there are in an area. Somewhere with lots of old people, healthcare workers etc would have started on the rest of their groups rather later than somewhere with a generally younger, less vulnerable population.

Did anyone see the robot cleaner on the news yesterday? That was at our local hospital

Well done on getting through the funeral ok - in these strange circumstances... I had been thinking of you and wondering how long it might be to wait.

Can't believe these people who are refusing it! Must be bonkers! I'm positively delighted. Although, I wasn't that delighted that they sent me the accompanying leaflet aimed at "older adults" and my friend, who is 60 in August, got one for "adults". Flipping cheek!!

I agree that those who are refusing are either bonkers or really selfish ('I'll pass but thankfully others will get the jab which should help me' attitude!)
I got the guide for older adults but then, I am older!

I laughed, the first question I was asked, when I had already rolled my sleeve up was “are you happy to have the vaccine?”

I did get asked if I would describe my ethnicity as white British.

I was also told I could do my 15 minute wait in my car rather than in the building (International darts venue which felt somewhat appropriate ). But I was told not to think about driving off early because the time of my vaccine was on record and if I had an accident my insurance wouldn't be valid!

Yesterday I received some flowers through the post with a card that read "you've always been like a Mum to me" - from my son!

Up at Loch Duich and Ardintoul today. I've been past Eilean Donan twice in each direction, from both sides - on the road and on the water.

This was on the way up, on the way back I couldn't see the water, let alone the castle.

Driving, via Loch Lochy farm, then on to Inverpolly hatchery. It's been glorious weather today and beautiful scenery.

No, it really is inadequate compared to the real thing. It was breathtaking to see. Worth a 4 hour drive each way. Much of the scenery was beautiful for the whole journey.
