Re: Finished!!!
And congratulations to SparkOut who has also cracked it now. Obviously the sight of a large smug purple bunny was too much for him..
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Re: Finished!!!
I had gone over this ground soooooo many times, but it just wouldn't work out. I needed a kick from the (deservedly) smug purple fluffball to pick the right way of sorting it in the end though.
I'd say more about what I uncovered along the way that was soooooooo close to giving me the final bit too, but that shouldn't be said out loud. (It's nothing exciting though and it's an observation that only makes sense after the event, so don't worry about it.)

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Acceptance of what? There's no prize for second place. Grump!
But of course I'm gracious and honour the lapine purple. Many congratulations.

Golly well done you two! I am really impressed.
Thanks greatly to both of you I have what I assume is a completed grid but I don't think I am anywhere near getting the missing artist yet.

Re: Finished!!!
Thank you kindly for the offer of the free 3 puzzle books you two, I appreciate the gesture, but I won't hear of it.
Giraffe - I was really and truly absolutely stumped on all of the puzzles for the first 2 days, and I've had lots of help along the way. I am obviously happy to reciprocate! And as for the missing artist, I have to confess that that was a mixture of pure persistence and a bit of luck along the way. No brains were involved in the making of the answer.

Re: Finished!!!
Congratulations Bunnylump! I always knew you or sparkout would be the first to crack it.
Re: Finished!!!
I actually thought LAT would be the first to get the final answer.
And BL/Puzzlebrains admin team (ahem... knowing I've already "broken" some things through asking for "non standard" features, sorry!), how about taking up the offer but twisting it a bit..? (eg taking three extra of issue 1 and passing it to (carefully selected) people who may then possibly subscribe - thus increasing the circulation.)

What an amazing idea Sparkout! I vote for that one.
I do have a vote don't I?

Re: Finished!!!
I think it's a great idea.
And I have been dragged kicking and screaming through the finishing line. Grateful thanks to several of you who have helped along the way in particular Bunnylump and Sparkout without whom I would never have got here.

Good idea... maybe. I don't think she should be forced to tout it in the streets though. Ooh-er!gill216 wrote:Except Bunnylump has already bought and recieved additional copies of Issue 1 for family and friends who may be interested.
I would also like to say a big thank you to many people who have helped me on the way, especially LAT and Bunny, but also strep98, katsmom and plenty of others. I'd also like to say thank you to gill216 for everything in the creation of Puzzlebrains from concept to being the live production it is today, along with Scurra, who also deserves a round of applause for the puzzles, (as well as a hail of overripe apples and bananas for some of the evil twists).
Re: Finished!!!
Well I'll take comfort from that, as most of them are still stumping me at the moment, and now school is back there's not enough time ...Bunnylump wrote:I was really and truly absolutely stumped on all of the puzzles for the first 2 days, ...
