Congratulations Eirian - that's wonderful news.
Sadly I'm not sure that you'll have much time for sitting with your feet up doing puzzles, but maybe you'll be a dab hand at holding him with one hand and puzzling with the other.

Does he have a name yet?

Many congratulations to Eirian, delighted to hear the news. :D
And congrats also to Granny Wulfruna and uncle Scurra.

Let's hope he's a good sleeper so the puzzling can continue. ;)

Thanks for passing on the great news, and pass all our best wishes back to the new Mum :) Hope everyone involved is fit and well.

It sounds like he's had a but of a 'hurry up' to give himself the best chance at the new puzzle mag.... no point in hanging around a week or so to be born and giving the other 'children of puzzlers' too much of a head start :D

I can imagine in now: "Uncle Scurra! Uncle Scurra!! Gimme a clue......"

A quick 5 minutes (literally), before I need to go back to Eirian, but details are as follows :-

Contractions started just before 4:30 this morning.

Baby born at 10:31 this morning.

Weight - 7lb 12oz

Length - 20 inches (just over 60 cm)

Name - Thomas James Riley

Mother and baby are being kept in overnight and baby will be checked over late morning

Hair - yes, dark

Piccies - none yet as they are on my wife's camera and I have no idea how to download from it :?

He needs an email address first and I doubt mum or dad have thought much about Puzzlebrains today
