Every best wish for a hippo bathday and a hoppy birdie. And any other combinations you can think of!

He's probably had his stick French polished.

Many happy returns Scurra - and I do mean of the day and not of people throwing puzzlebooks at you :D

No, but I did get a very big box of very nice chocolates from my sister (which, cleverly, she sent me a few weeks ago before she was, um, distracted by other things.)

no, they were sent a few weeks ago because otherwise Hotel Chocolat's end of easter sale would have ended and the box would have had to be smaller! Did you manage to save any of them for today?

Anyway, Hippo Birdy Uncle Scurra!

I hope I've copied this down correctly - Sam says he's used my name as the Vigenere key so I hope it works:

I was looking at a list which Julian drew up from posts on DVP, so that's how I knew.

Well, I may be late with my birthday wishes entered here, but that doesn't mean I forgot my son's birthday!
Indeed, his birthday present is a clever gizmo to make puzzle-setting even easier in terms of presentation and lay-out (or so he tells me....)
Happy birthday Scurra - I'm proud of you :D :D :D :D

p.s. Happy birthday also to Fraggle - I was away on the day, learning how to be a Granny   so need to pick up all the tips I can get!
