Re: I'm so excited!
Er, it's not totally suitable for younger members. If anyone would like to hear the gory details, pm me. But I must warn you it is x rated.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Wonderful quote - they won't be calling you as an advertising consultantgiraffe wrote:It's like smoking. I'm not even tempted to try it!

I needed to create a facebook accound when my wife heard that a fitness instructor had photographs of her (and others) on his page. In order to see them I needed an account - so I created a fake one. [However the brains on this forum are probably sharp and bonnie enough to track me down

Talking with people through my job, and explaining the benefits and possibilites of the Internet I tell them that I can see little or no use for Facebook as there is nothing to 'drive' it, but I'm a big fan of forums (switch computer to a well known puzzle forum) as the individual threads give the 'action' needed to log in and check what's happening

We were working with some other council visitors, an one of them asked if she could check her Facebook account. Afterwards I asked for a chat with her and had her explain what she DOES with it (explaining that from my point of view nothing happens with it).
She told me that at University she made a tight group of friends from all round the country, and this was the way they kept in touch as a group. Now THAT made perfect sense, and also explained why it was not a particularly useful tool for ME.

Re: I'm so excited!
Ive already been talking to Gill about a Facebook page for Puzzlebrains. Conceptis puzzles have their own facebook page. This way every friend on a person's facebook can access Puzzlebrains page. I think we should give it a try. It wont do any harm!

Re: I'm so excited!
I missed most of this discussion last night, but I have to admit that Puzzlebrains already has a Facebook page (and a MySpace page and a Twitter account and...
) I set them up when I did the site, intending to get back to them when I had time, but those first few months were just mad, and I simply forgot about them - because they really weren't that useful at the time.

Re: I'm so excited!
I've looked for a puzzlebrains page on facebook and couldn't find one! I'll be a member so all my friends can see it. Not sure whether any of them will be interested, but its worth a try.
Re: I'm so excited!
Try looking for it as two separate words (puzzle brains.)
