Is this some sort of self-deprecation contest to see who can claim to be most rubbish at solving?
As with PB, the puzzles are usually presented as PDFs for download and printing. There have been very rare exceptions to this, but I wouldn't worry about it. The question is how much on-line research is needed for solving a particular puzzle, but again it's often pretty clear when that is the case.
Anyone who thinks they should be able to see the forum but can't, please send me a PM...
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

gills persuaded me to join
Gill's persuading everyone who PM's her to join in- so be warned
The more the merrier- even if you dont want to participate on this outing you can watch what happens. We have Cisra in May and SUMS later in the year.
Please don't be downhearted if you are out all day and come home to find puzzles have been solved. There are ALWAYS puzzles hanging about waiting for inspiration.
For those who haven't joined in on previous outings have a look at the google docs thread on the newly opened forum for participants. That is where we throw our ideas around

There were some good paper and scissors ones in the last set, just up my street! (with help from Kingsley). I don't think she'll have much time next week as she is on a course two evenings for the Young Volunteer thing she has signed up for and will be back at school so homework will be building up.

Fair warning - I am away with probably no, or at best, very limited access to a computer for two days.

Yes, please count me in as well - I wasn't sure if I would have the time (I've just got a translation assigment arriving on Monday..) but it sounds irresistable and I'd love to have a go. I'm not too clear how it works - if we work as a team how do we access the puzzles to offer help? What is the Forum you are referring to? Sorry to be ignorant.....

At the bottom of the top half of the board index page you should have MUMS 2010, but I think it only appears when you've said you're in. (In case you are a spy for the opposition!)

I was just about to ask about the time difference and when that meant the puzzles would be up. Thanks Gill!
(Not that I actually intend getting up at that time to look, but never mind)

I'd definitely win that one because I'm rubbishest. I claim zero snark solutions this issue.

Yeah, but that's because you haven't opened it, silly sod.
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.
