(1)
"finished another one" implies that I've finished one or more of them - I haven't
(2)............... is a constant state of affairs, so no prizes there

You've seen my expanding waistline haven't you?
Oh trust me, I don't have friends who have receding waistlines. They'd just depress me. In fact I'd say you could do with fattening up a bit.Thinking about it I might have to stop being friends with Scurra. He doesn't have a squidgy belly. Maybe you'd better send the muffins to him, lilsis. It would be like a mission of mercy.
And lilbro stop it. That mag only came out about 5 minutes ago didn't it? And from your posts you're doing pretty well on quite a few of them.
So all you need to do now is to send your sister any surplus chocolate and you'll be away.
It worked for Laura.

Do you think if I send you some chocolate it will mean I solve some puzzles?
And MBH I thought you had solved the Dingbats one

Ah, stuff it! You'll have to keep them! They'll be horrible by next week, and I'm not driving for an hour just for muffins!!!

Hmmmm - I'm going to remember
"surplus chocolate" for the next time I need an example of an oxymoron
No LAT - my odd brain rattled through the first stage of Dingbats, and I have a strong idea about what MIGHT come next, but need time in rGeOsOeGaLrEch tools to find out if I'm right.

Yes that's exactly how it works LAT. I need to build up my strength with a view to flying.
Laura -you'll just have to have virtual muffins instead. They are much more slimming.
And MBH I don't think you need Google to finish your puzzle. You've got all you need.
(Don't think that's giving away too much!!)

Oi! Stop talking about puzzles in here - it will just confuse people. Although Ms Bunny is perfectly correct...
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

OK, what is your favourite chocolate? I'll buy some tomorrow.
I'm not even sure I have all the right Dings (or is it Bats?) let alone finding the final solution
oops, sorry Scurra , please delete my messages if you want.

Oh I never eat chocolate. Obviously.
That's a first, isn't it? Deviation in the "Today I've mostly bin" thread onto puzzles...
Sorry. It's symptomatic of my jumbled brain. I was saying to Strep earlier on that it's really no good having a brain which insists on thinking of ten things simultaneously. She does the same, so there's absolutely no hope whatsoever for her.

Got a great e-mail today on just that subject.
AAADD (age activated attention deficit disorder) It perfectly describes my behaviour for the last goodness know how many years!
and if you never eat chocolate, is there any point in me sending you some?

Well I'd better change the subject back onto topic.
.... to a waterpark. Thank heavens the monsters are old enough to take themselves on all the near vertical corkscrew watershoot things. Just tell them not to lose Lally and off they go.
The only ride I went on was the lazy river, where you sit on a tyre and float gently round a waterway. I nearly had to go round twice as when it came to disembarkation my bum was firmly wedged in the tyre and the skinny wench loading people looked horrified at the thought that she might have to try to upend it with me still in it! They needed a muscley hunk to get me out
(and there's never one when you need one)

You need to go to Go Ape! You climb all these rope ladders and obstacles and stuff, but if you get stuck, you can yell, and the muscley hunks come and rescue you!!!!

I want to do this at some point - but I have no intention of needing rescuing
However - if I can lend a hand to a damsel in distress
It looks like great fun, and I'll need to get someone taking pictures to scare Looby with

I wondered about go ape as somewhere to go with the big nieces and nephews (17 18 20) but when I looked the ratio of adults to children was wrong, assuming I didn't go up with them. It might work now that two of them are over 18, but I think I might be one staying on the ground, not because of the height so much as my fear of getting wedged. I think they'd need a crane not a hunk to get me down.

Well that counts me out, if there is a maximum thigh measurement!
For the nephews it would be a problem if there was a maximum height and minimum waist measurement!

Well I might manage the restrictions but that doesn't necessarily mean I'd manage the activity. I think I might be better at the scary photos.
