I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but would it be possible to have business cards with Puzzlebrains details? Then next time I am trying to explain to strangers how I met Looby, or MBH tries to chat up a fellow train traveller, we wold have something to give them to say "take a look if you're interested". It would have better impact than just telling them the name. And easy to carry a few around in a handbag or wallet.
What does everyone else think?

Re: An idea
I think it's a great idea.
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Re: An idea
It is under active consideration. One of the reasons I was holding off is that I really would like to be directing people to "puzzlebrains.com" rather than this site, since that's where the puzzles will be hosted - at least, they will once I can get the actual site to work! (There is stuff there now, but it's not at all looking how it will do.)
Giving people cards with "puzzlebrains.co.uk" will probably get confusing, especially when they won't be able to create an account here directly in the near future...

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Cool! I already do that for the music shop I use, since the only one in Wakefield closed down, and this one's in Huddersfield. All my pupils who ask where they can get stuff just get given the card which is far easier than trying to explain. Very good idea!!!

Re: An idea
I'm game for this idea. I never got to tell you all about the older couple I was chatting to in the 'Marble Slab Ice Cream Shop'....
They were both working through different pages of the puzzle section of a newspaper, and after proving my credentials (by finding the half of a link-word that they couldn't see) I told them about this place. Jotted down the web address (on their newspaper page they were working on
) and told them to check out the Advent Calendar.
I was half-wondering if our newest member WAS a couple - it could be them.
Having a proper business card would make it a lot easier to direct people we meet like this, but obviously to the RIGHT place for the future.

Re: An idea
I had some free cards done by vista to put with my books I send away for readitswapit and I put that I am also a member of puzzlebrains and bookcrossings so that people may pick up on those, but dedicated ones would be really good
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.
