oooh, any chance of a suitable pen with number 2 then? :P ;)

Eirian if you can find fine-nibbed pens less than 5mm thick tell me where to get them and you can all have one with issue 2 :D

Reason being postage goes up if its over 5mm and we felt an increase in mag size would be preferable to increased postage. I might send you something else to use with the scribble pad if you are very good :D

The postman came to me too. Thank you for my lovely gift, I really don't want to write on it in case I can't get it off so I have stuck post its on it.

Scrummy!

But I did have a bit of a prob with the Free Gift. I tried using a Berol Colourpen and the ink didn't seem to hold very well when I was writing - perhaps I was trying to make the letters too small?

I like the way Gill and Scurra actually expect one of us to finish it in the first place ;)

I'm confused by the letter - it tells us to PM Scurra, whereas in the puzzle book it tells us to send the answer to editor @puzzlebrains.co.uk, presumably as an e-mail. Which is the right one?
I think we should know in case two people get the final answer and one PMs but the other e-mails. It wouldn't be fair if the e-mailer was the winner but the PMer sent the message first.

Well, since both would be time-stamped, it wouldn't be hard to work out which arrived first. Preference would be given to the email to editor though, as that's what it says in the magazine.
