That's such a shame. No chance of you putting in a brief appearance I suppose, even if you can't stay the whole weekend?

I used to know everything there was to know about Word so maybe I can help on that one. I wrote a course years ago that was used by the people I worked for at the time for new employees. How many new features there are that I'm not up to speed on though is something I don't know. It's a very long time since I needed to use all the features.

Excellent response :) Thank you. I tell people that if a computer related statement starts "There must be an easier way to...." - there probably IS

Everything I've seen so far is totally do-able, but as well as checking all corners inside the box I will be introduce you to thinking outside the box in software terms ;)

Gill, I've been looking but can't find where you said about this (I think you did, somewhere)...

Do we need to bring towels? I assume that bedding is supplied...

Will I have to bring clothes or can I get away with my pyjamas, like normal*??

*That bit is a joke, before you all start to panic and back out! The towels question, however, is genuine.

Bedding is supplied but towels aren't. My suggestion was that if you are travelling by car then bring one for showering and one for swimming. I have more than enough for those travelling by train, on foot (!) or by bus. I think if you are all starting to think ahead its time to post up the suggested menu for the weekend and what is supplied and what isn't, on the important info thread.

If you have any suggestions, alternatives or anything else you'd like provided PM me or post on this thread.

Anyone else?
Still lots of room for last minuters. Day visitors welcome too.

Well, my friend Janet did threaten to come (so she can "check out" all these weird people I like to consort with!! ) but I've told her she's not allowed to because she'd just moan about the puzzles. Oh, and she's even more annoying than I am (hard to believe, I know!!) 8-) Also I'm away with her (and my other girlfriends) for three days two weeks after this one...I think my husband thinks I'm trying to avoid him...

Anyway, now I can keep you all as my own little secret. It would be really good if any other PBers could come though, even if it was for a day trip? We could probably do with reinforcements for the puzzles Scurra's got in mind...

Definitely a great shame, Tricia, I'd love to meet you some time. :D You could always take me to Rome with you?

Ah now that won't do...

Tricia, are you sure your sister wouldn't like to come to Withernsea rather than Rome? It's nearly as cultural...
