Blue sky?
White clouds?
Not like here
The sky is filled with dark ominous clouds no rain though :-D

Hope you don't get wet again Clvrlad. :) Enjoy your walk today (look at that, another sensible person who likes walking...!)

Been to the supermarket, started packing, just having a cup of tea, then I will sort myself out and set off.

Not the greatest start to the meet for me, with duties at home resulting in me still being here at home :(

Contingency plans are in place and all being well I will be able to head off to see the rest of the gang sometime tomorrow morning. Any plans for computer trickery for Saturday morning will need to be pushed back, but I HOPE things work out so that I can be there for the planned training.

Difficult when regular life intervenes to prevent what you want to do - but that's the way it goes. I roll and adapt to whatever situation is presented to me ;)

Don't go too wild down there (Yes Sis - I'm talking to you - ) and I'll catch up with you as soon as I can.

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

MBH- life gets in the way sometimes so dont fret. Your room is waiting for you and if you get here great. If you don't then we'll be sorry not to see you but the world won't end ;)

If a plan can go wrong in Gill's world it will. I blew out my electrics this afternoon so at 1.30 I started to wait for the electrician. How did I blow out the electrics? I draped an electric cable across the hob and melted it  Sat there thinking I have to be in Hull for 4 but I wont panic yet. I was 30 mins late but phones were switched on, Clvrlad had already met Scurra and Supersleuths train arrived on time.

Good to know people are safe and sorted out.

 How good are you at the positional, directional, picture type puzzles? LOL I see a caravan based puzzle in the future off Scurra ;)

Good undercover pictures of the ladies, but I'm slightly worried that I don't have a good enough sock wardrobe to join a gang like this:

Everyone is now on their way home and I do hope they all had a good time.
Yesterday was spent puzzling and today we had some wonderful tuition from MBH ( he made it :D ) on how we should be doing things rather than how we have been doing things. That might make Scurra's life a little easier when he receives our attempts at doing things on paint & excel and submitting them for a once over
MBH, I learned so many things in a very short space of time. Thank you so much.
David, the puzzles were great so please send a big thank you to the folks who wrote them. I think we solved about 50% between us and they will be posted so you can all see them.

Scurra naturally got most of the answers. Generally the rest of us shared the leg work that got to the point where the answer should have been obvious but we failed to see it    Sound familiar?

I gave up trying to avoid the cameras and have no doubt that several incriminating photo's are soon to appear.

I have one black trainer with a red tick on the side and a white stripe up the back, size 10. Any takers?

Otherwise, who sneaked in the one legged man who crept out in his sock?

I'm home safe through sunshine and pelting rain - the picnic went down very well at Wetherby services.

I chucked Scurra out in the rain somewhere along the way  so hopefully he's made all his connections.
tricia wrote: Will MBH be able to post anything he discssed with you on the Tools thread
It's been suggested I start or extend an Excel topic in the 'Tools' section, and that I redirect people back to the write-up I did on 'Paint' which is still perfectly valid even though the versions of the program have changed. My pictures show the older one which is simpler - the new one has all of that and more.

Great to see everyone (even for a truncated time) and my thanks to Gill as well for all the organization and food :D
