We are currently sitting in a stupor. K and A arrived in the morning and made blueberry pancakes. This was followed a couple of hours later by a massive Christmas dinner and home made Christmas pudding (as usual, I could have fed at least a further seven or eight people, although at least I cut down the number of veg this year to a mere 8 choices!!

) Had my brother and all the nieces and nephews round this afternoon for the "secret Santa" which was great fun.
So, have had a lovely family day, with lots of laughs and wonderful gifts:-the most surprising of which was from Dibble - he's paid for us all to go to the Hinthunt in February, which sounds like great fun.

Hope everyone is getting better and is thinking positive thoughts for 2013.
Ok - that last line from last year is sitting there mocking me as I didn't expect to end this year jobless and worries

But I hope everyone has had a great christmas and all managed to get through to those they love.
Merry Christmas from the North East

It's all so unfair, MBH. But here's hoping that 2014 is a better year for you and you can forget all about this one.

Big hugs from the south-east.
