Beat the Brain
Has anyone been watching Beat the Brain - I'm finding multi-tasking to be virtually impossible!

Re: Beat the Brain
Yes, I find that REALLY difficult too! Although I was much better at counting the bananas in the fruit machine thing than getting the correct number of people on the bus, in which I failed abysmally . The word ones were the easiest by a very long way for me, followed by the orienteering "satnav" questions.

Me too, the bus I can't do, or adding on one side and counting on the other.
The missing words in between other words I can get instantly and the hidden words in the sentence.
I like the clock ones too, where you have figure out where the view is from the position of the objects.

Yes, the clock ones are good - I can always do those fairly easily, looking at things backwards comes as second nature to me - I can write in mirror writing almost as fast as I can write in normal writing!
I found the ones with the dice really difficult though. I couldn't remember the pattern of the last one when I had a new one to look at.

Well, I like a challenge. And someone challenged me!

I just watched it. I knew which order the balloons popped spatially but didn't even register what colours the balloons were. But I was distracted by the irritatingly false, smug voice of Josie Lawrence doing the voiceover for the brain.
Re: Beat the Brain
And you know you just set yourself up for some really good challenges, don't you Bunny? (Before anyone jumps in, there is a difference between a dare and a challenge.)

I meant to say, I was first attracted to the programme by the name. But sadly found out that it wasn't quite what I had hoped for...

Yes, well, we can all guess what you hoped it was about...
