What an interesting bonus! The Pooh exhibition looks fun - unfortunately, I don't think I shall make it to London again before it closes. I would normally have a visit in March, but have other plans this year for various reasons.

Just got home from seeing the two Harry Potter and the Cursed Child plays. The tickets were birthday and Christmas presents to us from daughter and son for the last couple of years. The special effects were amazing, several things you really couldn't work out how they did them and the whole story was really good too. Shame about the weather but we got there and back by train with no problems although we walked to and from out local station as we didn't want to risk driving!

I would thoroughly recommend the plays! :D

Oh definitely worth it for anyone who has read the books - or even not read them, there is a brief resume of each book in the programme. And, in any case, there is so much to enjoy in this very clever production. But I gather you need to plan well in advance as it is booked out for at least a year I think.

Ouch. Someone really ought to do a product recall on the human body sometime; it's a really terrible piece of design in places.

Perhaps it's more the failure of the QA controller on some of the production lines. Either way Mrs S certainly deserves better

Oh what a worry for you - for you all in fact. I do hope it's good news in the morning.

Oh no! Poor Mrs. S. I do hope she feels better soon. I've been in the totally incapacitated, unable to move due to back issues category in the past, so she has my very deepest sympathies. x

Brought Mrs S out of hospital, not home but to my parents' bungalow. Got a wheelchair and toilet frame on loan from Red Cross and a zimmer frame from hospital. Seeing a specialist in 3 weeks. Got a week's worth of controlled drugs but she's going to be at least 4 weeks off.

Poor Mrs S. At least she is out of hospital though and I hope she improves every day.

Well, glad she's out of hospital, anyway. Please pass on our best wishes. x

Hope shes much improved now. Would just like to say I have injections in my spine every 6 months or so and they really help.

Pity he doesn't drink the beer - but no doubt the chocolate will go down well

ps. Wow! I love the birthday "card" . Well done everyone for your efforts. It was a lovely surprise and much enjoyed :o :D

Well, you'll be glad to hear that we foiled the dastardly plan of a local businessman, who had been stockpiling rain ponchos prior to the village fayre - he intended to detonate a box of rain seeds. Luckily, we managed to find the deactivation code, so all is well, and the Morris Men can do their thang. So as you can see, it was a very serious business. Good job we were there to save the day.
