OK I now know when I can and can't do.
Can do weekends:
June
18th

July
2nd
9th

August
6th
31st

Sept
3rd
17th
24th

Oct
1st
8th
22nd
29th
(or any time in half term)

I think basically, it depends a bit on Redfraggle and her ability to get a boat!! As you can see I am able to do w/e of 6th Aug (which I believe Supersleuth can't do) or 31st (which Redfraggle can't do) :( . I am up for a visit to Kent to see Allo Allo if that's what's on the agenda now, as long as most people can make that? Alternatively it looks like we might need to have two separate meets again (like last year) so that different people can be accommodated at different times.

For a really boring person who never does anything, surprisingly I don't have a free weekend until 23rd July, Then I go back to being really boring for the summer, so could do any weekend, except we might be away end of August. Then I cannot do any weekend until possibly 22nd October and the following weekend.

31st? That's a wednesday in my diary. :?

The only weekend I know so far that I definitely can't do is 25th June but so many things are up in the air at the moment that this doesn't mean I could necessarily manage the others. :(

Oops, sorry, misread that. So, the only weekend in August I could make in entirety is the 6th.

I'm likely to be out from 27th July-10 August. Seems I've got a small child all to myself :D Dont let that stop anyone making plans for that time though. It may not happen.

Since this seems to have stopped dead, I'm assuming that we've given up all hope of organising something for the Summer, anyway?

LAT, Giraffe and possibly Looby thought we might meet up anyway on 6th August maybe for a walk (weather permitting) and for lunch.
If anyone else is free that day and would like to join us, that would be lovely. We're most likely looking at something round here (Hertfordshireish). If we get lots of people who can come along then LAT and I will try to get together and organise something a bit more definite (possibly car trail or treasure trail or something? LAT doesn't know this yet... ). But we're trying to keep it simple and needing the minimum of organisation.

I do realise that Gill, and probably MBH won't be able to make that weekend (sorry guys!) but maybe we could still aim to go and invade Dramaticat and make her forget her lines in October instead? :D

Please respond as soon as you can if you intend to come. That way, if we need to go out and organise a trail we'll still have time to do it. :D

Just as well I have you as my social secretary isn't it! :D

I do quite fancy a trail of some sort so it would be good if more do decide they can join us.

Actually, I'd quite like to make one too. But then I'm sad like that.

Sorry not to have been more positive about the possibility of an August meet - too many complications needing to be taken into account! But I certainly might be able to manage the 6th weekend - part of the question was about location before making a commitment. But the London area is easier than some, so at the moment I am also a 'hopeful' .....
