How do you know that? Have you been counting?

Yes. Yes, he's been counting every one. That's what he does in his spare time...
(edit: or, possibly, he's done some basic
arithmetic reading.

)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

No, I prefer to imagine him avidly drawing five bar gates on his living room wall.

l hate to dispel the

image, but I didn't do any work. There's a count of the posts in the thread at the top (and bottom) of the page, after the page count, by the buttons for new topic and reply.

I've been on another interesting walk in London today. This time we did the Regent's Canal from Mile End to King's Cross. Saw lots of canal narrow boats both moored and cruising - and lots of joggers and cyclists on the towpath. We went at a more sedate pace. We also saw several families of coots.

...Meeting up with some lovely ladies at Wisley.

Smashing day, shame the M25 was at a standstill on the way home - 30 miles in three hours must be some sort of record...

Does anyone else experience what I call "social clumping"? You spend weeks doing nothing, being invited nowhere and generally feeling a bit sorry for yourself, then all in one week, you have: two birthday lunches, one evening drinks invitation, two lunches with friends, a birthday party, a barbecue and now an invitation for afternoon tea!

I think I'm going to have to have a week of not eating, sleeping a lot and de-toxing next week!

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

For me a clump is two special events in one week! Enjoy the detox, assuming you don't suddenly get some more invitations.

Gosh, playing is such a high tech thing these days! Apparently, I had a Pokémon sitting on my lap in the garden yesterday!

That is something I definitely don't understand! One of those things that you hear about but will probably never actually come across. Not that I'm complaining!

...Out to lunch and then to a spa for a back massage and a facial. Home now and just about to have ice cream in the garden. Life is just so stressful and trying sometimes...
