Its not a definite no from me either. Depending on timing its very possible I can make it but I have to wait for daughter to tell me her exact plans. She will be back in UK on Thursday 4th definitely and doesn't leave until 10th but whether she's in Leeds or not is still an open question.

6th August, I'm in. It's in my diary and everything.

I really don't mind if there is some sort of "activity" or if it is just a pub lunch. I last turned out on DVP meet No 1 at Bletchley and there are so many of you I would like to meet again and there are so many of you I would like to meet for the first time. I'll be there. Deffo.

Fingers crossed then, Gill and Wulfruna. :D :D And brilliant, Bassbloke! Another one I've never met and really want to. :D

LAT, looks like I might be dragging you round and making you help me make a puzzle trail after all...

Hmm. Thing is, if it's nice-ish weather I'm most likely to turn up on the bike. Now. I did do a treasure hunt type thingy on my bike once. Came last. Kind of discovered it's tricky riding and reading and navigating at the same time.

Oh, unless I have a willing volunteer to ride pillion and shout directions at me!!

Listen vairy cairfully, I shall say zis only once! I 'ave already learned my lines - and rehearsals don't start until August. We Resistance fighters are always prepared and we are used to ze underhand tactics of ze Germans, so do not expect me to succumb so easily to your dastardly plans for world domination. Vive la France! And now, I shall disappear like a phantom into ze night ....

Seriously, you're welcome to come and see me. Tickets go on sale on 1 July, and while I don't expect a rush straight away, we are expecting to sell out - or as good as - for this show. If you need a block booking for a particular night, I would need to know sooner rather than later (as box office person I have the ability to reserve seats - although it's not strictly policy to do that! - but then I'm in charge mwahahahahah!).

August 6th might be possible but only if it's London based.

I'll be there

Did a treasure hunt walk here last weekend - around Hawley Lake - so if there is ever another meet down this way I have a pre-planned activity

Brilliant, glad you can come too, Looby.

Dramaticat - I am on the Euston line 30 mins from Euston. If you would like to come, and can get here, I'd be happy to pick you up from the station if that helps. I may also be picking a certain jester up from there anyway. :D Last time I looked it was about £11 return from Euston.

And I'd like to come to your play if anyone else is up for it.

And so would I :D .

If we were to do this as well then at least a hotel overnight is needed. Should we start looking now? I think I'd probably need a bed for the night at one of the ends of the trip too. LAT- remember when I stayed at Looby's and you asked ( for a very specific reason!!! ) if I'd stay with you next time? Is that offer still open?

So what puzzle hints will you be able to offer to entice me?

6th August is in Hertfordshire (sort of north west of London). The October one for the play would be in Kent.

On the basis that we would need to get tickets booked I think we might need a show of hands for likely attendees in October.
I think a couple of people (Looby, Giraffe?) have expressed a preference for w/e 22nd October so assuming that date who else would be interested in coming?
