OK so not so impressed with the fox cubs now. Just found a severed pet rabbit leg on my lawn... :? Euw.

Oh dear, not so nice.

I have a large heap of old compost from when I have emptied plant pots and planted them up with fresh compost. From time to time I add some of this old compost to some of the flower beds when they are looking in need of a bit extra. The other day I was scooping some into the wheelbarrow when I unearthed a frog buried a few inches down. :o We moved it to the edge of our pond and it jumped into the water. Today the same thing happened again so I don't know if there is a whole family buried there or if the same one has come back to hibernate again. This time I left it where it was.

I would have thought it was plenty warm enough now for a frog not to need to hide away like this. :?

No, there is a message saying that the link can't be viewed. Have you shared it on facebook?

No, it was my friend's film. I didn't know that the FB privacy bits worked on external links, sorry.

Basically, it was a video of various bits of the gorge, which really made it look like a place that fairies out to live! :D

...as indeed they do - didn't you know? :o :D :P
I agree that it is a magical place, full of mossy corners and hanging ferns over the babbling water.

Blimey, you must be talented if you can get anywhere with your fingers and flippers crossed...

Wow, that must have been quite a sight. And you're very lucky - they are critically endangered!

Maybe they just caught an ordinary one and painted its tail white?
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Good luck to the person who tries to catch it. :)
And honestly, is there such a thing as an "ordinary" eagle? ;)
