It makes me feel sick just looking at it, as my evil twin very well knows...
But I must say I did laugh out loud when he sent me that.

That's not the Irish one we've been on surely.
I'd say I don't recognise it, but I had my eyes shut all the way over so I couldn't be sure!

Any close observer would see it is a stock photograph, and not ME on the bridge. How can you tell???

You know you can really go off some people...
What I want to know is how come I got all the scaredy cat genes from the twin package? It's SOOOOO unfair. I can MAKE myself do things. I think I told you this before, but I went right to the top of this in 2004
But then passed out when I reached the bottom!

I don't understand.
If you could make yourself go up there, then you can do anything. I think you're just pretending.
Now you see I would have done the passing out thing at the bottom at the start, like sensible people.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

I don't understand either. Thing is I was determined. We'd gone there because I'd won the weekend away. We are unlikely to ever be able to afford to go again, and I KNEW my OH really wanted to go up and was being nice saying "It doesn't matter". So I MADE myself do it. After he'd scraped me up off the floor at the bottom he told me he could feel me shaking all the way round and was quite surprised I hadn't passed out at the top and plummeted over the edge. I think that was what he'd secretly hoped for...
The reason it is SO impressive that I did this is that I am so bad I have to stand against the wall when I'm at the top of a staircase, and can't climb a ladder without my knees giving way.

It was breathtakingly wonderful. Best bit was the massive stained glass window with turquoise and yellow glass. If anyone ever gets the chance to go to Barcelona I would thoroughly recommend it for a weekend break. The Gaudi park Guell is fabulous too. The only thing I hated was the aggressive beggars.

well MBH is right he didnt hold on...i crossed after him i did hold on but primarily to dampen the lateral movement caused by some unthinking youths messing about whilst certain people were crossing very gingerly...

Anyone seen the bridge on page 3 of the telegraph travel section today?

It would give most people nightmares. Its the Arch in Chamonix which has spectacular views of peaks and glaciers and off piste terrain. Sheer rock face and ots od snow above and below.
We don't stop laughing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop laughing!

Not opened the travel section up to now (Life is too short to read all the sections on Saturday) But just had a look. At least that bridge seems to be firmly fixed and not swaying about.

I'd say involuntarily described it better.
