Clvrlad, don't you realise by now that I'm not quite the ticket and have trouble with complicated conversations?

I've so totally lost the plot here that the plot is just a dot to me. :|

I thought you were implying that I was a HOSTESS. As in escort/hostess.

If I was brave enough I'd love to take MBH kayaking. Not entirely sure he'd be happy with me in control of the rollocks though.

Well, thank you everyone who came and brought such lovely sunny weather. I can't believe we were able to sit outside until nearly dark. I can't deny that it was all a bit of a worry beforehand, but I did manage to really enjoy myself. once it got going Thank you everyone for coming (and for leaving the house completely unscathed. I will say nothing about the two large and overflowing boxes waiting to go to the bottle recycling).

And Bunnylump, THANK YOU for the puzzles. They are great - you have almost out-Scurraed Scurra (not that that would be possible). Thanks, too to LAT for organising Sunday morning which really rounded the weekend off. And to Scurra for organising the Hollywood evening. Who would have known that we were such a group of thespians?

And not to forget Gill's mystery surprise - a really, really lovely souvenir.

Bunnylump's husband asked me it the Meet was an annual event, and I confidently said yes .... So who's going to do it next year???

whooooo......
...sound of tumbleweed passing by.....

I don't think I have the space to put everyone. I've got a teeny house which is crammed with stuff and 2-8 young people at any one time. I do have a very long back garden (which is a jungle), which will fit one of those big gazebos in it (we have one, about 2-3 times the length of the one you had up), however, if it rained you would all have to go home because you wouldn't fit in the house. Also, Hemel Hempstead is not what I would call a thrilling place to visit. (Nor is it particularly easy to get to for most people - it'd probably involve going into London and back out again, which costs a fortune.) :(

And why would you say that? It's only because you live there which makes it dull. (Um, that came out wrong, didn't it? You know what I mean. )

edit: can I request some more compression on the pictures please? Any thread with photographs will get quite large quite quickly, and it all eats the bandwidth. (We've still got plenty to spare but it's not unlimited.)

Not many places are much duller than Reading (even though I do live here :D )

Fernando loved Reading! He announced that he'd like to live there when he's grown up. (Is it because it's a couple of hours from his parents? :? )

It's a good job I've just copied the one above to my computer then, before it's taken down

Bu**ar.

Supersleuth you are in such big trouble.

EDIT

Something just hit me. Does this mean you WANT a picture of me???? Flipping heck, Scurra, that's a bit of an admission. Or is it that you want one to throw darts at?

Any more appearing on here will be edited. So there. I HATE having my photo taken. If I can't see myself I can imagine I'm slim and pretty. If I have to look at the reality I get all depressed and grumpy, just like that old woman who sneaks in front of the camera or the mirror.

No, it's just for the blackmail file... Having given you Moderator privileges (which means you can edit other people's messages), I realised that you'd probably try to remove any of you as soon as they appeared.

Oh, so you weren't being nice then. That's ok then, everything normal and as it should be.

That's one advantage of usually being the one who takes the piccies -- I am very very rarely on them!

And as I know most of the faces from previous meets -- I have a good idea which one is Madame purple rabbitt.

I don't know what you two are fussing about, it's me that looks enormously fat in the picture. I'm sure supersleuth must have stretched the picture sideways, surely I'm not that size. :( I had deliberately not posted the Basildon Park one because Gill stole my slot at the back!

As one who frightens the scales with my somewhat over 19 stone I fail to understand the problems of all you skinny young girls.

And anyway -- most fellers I know prefer their ladies to be built for comfort!

Of course, when the pictures haven't been labelled, we can only speculate as to who you are talking about :D
(There will be some people on here who have no idea who everyone is... and frankly, I can't remember either, and I was there. And I wasn't even drinking!)
