What, on God's Earth is a Googlebot?? I'll swear you computer types speak a different language to everyone else.

I've only seen these words in 'conversation', but you're a good enough puzzler to know a lot of this if you stop putting big walls up if the area of puzzling is technology :P

Do you not look at things like Google and work out 'how it works' just by the fact that you're using it? I'm pretty sure you don't think it's *Magic*, and we're getting such words as 'Fembot' added thanks to the Austin Powers films (although for some reason my mind has just diverted to a BuffyBot  I wonder why).

I've also seen that the Internet Technology In-crowd have their own ideas about what a Web-Crawler is :geek:

Well, if you try Googling googlebot, you'd find out

(You can tell it not to index your site at all, so you won't show up on a Google search. In fact, I've stopped it indexing pretty much everything except the main front page, so this forum shouldn't appear. However, I forgot to include the blog.)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

Aw you are such a spoilsport. Next you'll tell me that Father Christmas won't be coming down my chimney this year! :|
