Re: Today's post
Can I just say I'm all for having help when needed on the ones I haven't finished, but I'd rather things weren't posted publicly. Even with spoilers they can give too much away, some people's idea of a nudge is another person's cast iron frying pan over the head.
There are a lot of puzzles I haven't even started and whilst that might be becuase I need a tiny nudge I really wouldn't want to find a whopping spoiler, but someone else may be at the "ready to set fire to the puzzle if someone doesn't tell them the answer soon" stage.
I would find it helpful to have a list of people who have solved a particular puzzle and are ready willing and able to nudge as and when required. I'm happy to go on the list for any I have solved. I'm happy to offer hints and help, just not often in a position to do so.
Having said all that I'm about to tidy up and that means I might lose all my puzzles for the forseeable future. (Hopefully not, as I'd like to do some over the festive season)

Well, if I do post a hint, and it's a big one, then I will say so before the spoiler so you know not to look. You'll have to learn self control, Giraffe...

Is all of Devon still cardless or just me?
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

Re: Today's post
I've not had time to comment on the post, but my card arrived in the North East OK (on the same day as most of the rest of you).
In most issues I finish between 1 and possibly 6 main puzzles, and have never completed a mag OR attempted a Meta-puzzle yet. So a second crack at some of them is fine by me.
My computer at home is officially dead - physical problems on the hard drive. The good news is they were able to strip the data off that drive which includes a series of named folders that anyone here would recognise Without that I'd be starting from scratch, but stored in different places I have all the old mags and a lot of working out.
I'm more than happy to stay part of the PB crowd regardless of changes to the workings - and wish Scurra and Gill lots of luck in making this do what you want it to do. As always, if I can help then let me know. [Oh - LAT? Nice job title ]

Re: Today's post
Well I think I have complete answer sets to all the puzzle mags so far (but not yet all of this Advent set!) and I am always happy to answer questions from anyone about any of them so please feel free to PM me at any time.

David it is about time you reaped some reward for your efforts. Thank you for continuing to confuse, irritate and delight us with the range of puzzles that are prduced in the magazine. Make sure you have a great Christmas
I like the idea of the puzzle weekend, However if it is the end of April beginning of May - I shall be in Rome for my sister's 60th
A huge Thank you to all the puzzle setters

And FINALLY, the post has arrived! I could have walked to Leeds and back many times since you lot first got yours, but never mind. As every one has said, I'm very happy with everything suggested. And also contemplating getting Lilsis and Gmaal and the little ones to the Yorkshire meet if possible, depending on what you're planning.

Re: Today's post
I gather they were THINKING of the bank holiday weekend right at the beginning of May. Sadly, this is the ONLY weekend I already have something organised for on my calendar for the whole year, so can't do it. But in the scale of meets I think I've done pretty well thus far, so I can't complain. You'll just all have to remember to post lots of photos for me.

Re: Today's post
Well I rather hope it's not the bank holiday weekend as I don't particularly fancy travelling half the length of the country at a bank holiday. I didn't think a date had been set yet but maybe I'm misunderstanding that.

Re: Today's post
I'm sure it was mentioned to me as 'some time around the end of April or early May' so I'm suspecting it's not linked with bank holidays directly. Lousy time to travel anyway. I'm crossing all fingers and toes that I can join in with this (and perhaps provide some new skills as well)

Mine arrived today and wyses99's arrive yesterday (we live a mile apart!) I call that favoritism
Thank you for the card and I still second what the Bunny said on page 1. Not sure I'm going to get to the meet though

Mine also came yesterday - clearly there are certain parts of Devon which are favoured...... . Not that this is much help in knowing what to do with it.....strep98 wrote:Mine arrived today and wyses99's arrived yesterday (we live a mile apart!) I call that favoritism
