Hello!
Some of you will know me from Runes (and will notice that I've found a much nicer avatar this time), and giraffe and fernando (who says he's on his way) know me far too well!!!

:D :P :) (I like the range of smileys :D ! Well done Scurra) :ugeek: (I like the name of that one too!)

Hi guys! I'm here, but still plodding on through the runes, so might not be here much for a few weeks. Although the stadium puzzle looks right up my street :D

Hi everyone! Like many of you here I really missed DVP when it stopped. Although I didn't post to their forum that often (as the 'other' Brian) it was always great fun to be a part of that community. And now this - wow! Nice one Scurra. What an excellent thing to do. I'm really looking forward to issue 1 and this time I'll try to join in a bit more. So, good luck Scurra, I hope this venture really works out. All the best everyone.

Brian aka Taijitu

Welcome! So many people have changed their log in names it's becoming difficult to know if we are old friends or new friends. :D All friends welcome here so no matter.

If you are an old friend you will know us well and know that anything goes except the answers. If you are a new friend we are not scary. We like to laugh, talk about anything and everything and you can guarantee that the initial header on any topic will degenerate into something entirely differnt by page 2.

I don't know many people here anyway!
I know a few people from runes and I did 2 of the DVP magazines which giraffe recommended to me and fernando. Some people may recognise me as 'zoomzoombutterscotch' from DVP, but probably not because I only joined the site to play one of the puzzle games that was going on!

If we're going to do that, in the Other Place, I wasn't 'alone'. My location should be enough of a clue, anyway!

The login name does...one of them, anyway. ;)
And look at what's backwards in my sig here. But it's in Latin in the Other Place.

Well I think it's easier than the Runes. But then I would say that, wouldn't I? :D :D

Glad you made it here after your initial problems.

Golly -- all these people with TWO names!!!

I have enough problems in remembering one (and that is my 'real' name)

and to the 'other ' Brian -- taijitu -- can I say how glad I am to get in first would never have managed with a nom de guerre.

And I have sent my subscription off,

congrats to everyone involved in getting it off the blocks (Mind you having some inkling of the way Scurra's mind works I might well be cursing you all in a week or so)

Ah but Mr Snail- :D

Knowing how our friendly jesters mind works is exactly why we need the forum, And as many brains as we can get to outwit him  Together we shall succeed.

Lonely? How could you possibly be lonely when you have a puzzlebrains magazine. ;)

You can be lonely if you have the magazine, but no pencil. Isn't that right Katsmom?

too true my tall friend. It's surprisingly hard to keep track of thoughts on word. Aren't these sorts of things kind of lonely by default? I mean, my husband just rolls his eyes at me and my daughter says "mom's doing another puzzle, leave her alone" Either that, or I am worse than I thought when I'm working on a puzzle. :o
