Sorry to be a pain but where do the passwords get sent - I have checked my email and the PM box. I am still v new to all this so if someone can explain exactly where the password is and where I have to input it once the thread has been created I would appreciate.

Regards

Biscuit

Our passwords arrived by email biscuit, but the place to put them in isn't up yet. Have you rec'd emails before from PB? I seem to remember there was a bit of confusion with the first issue about whether they were getting through.

The place to enter them IS up.
Click on the big button labelled "the puzzles" on the front page

All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

....yes it has.... and looks as impressive as ever! My OH was duly impressed when I left it lying around - and wondered why the designer/layout person didn't get a credit as well????
Hooray - just got the password too..... time to get started

My password is usually sent personally (please, Scurra I know you have better things on your mind so you are forgiven)

I have my password - i missed it when scrolling through my emails. - As yet I will not let me access the forum but I am hoping that's because that bit is not set up yet.

I particularly like the tube map in the middle page - it gives you a much better picture of where you are than the TFL one. I might take this one next time I am in town.

yes, I was thinking that too. Who knew where all the stations actually were in relation to each other in real life? Much more useful then the official tube maps!

Mag received :D
Password received :D
Have just printed out a couple of the puzzles with which to fry my brain over the next couple of days.

Are the hints going to be put online again?

And all respect to Kingsley for solving one already

Kingsley - nobody likes a smartie-pants, and you'll be in trouble with the Bunny :P

Welcome to my world! By the time I get mine, most everyone has finished theirs. I'm pretty sure my postman hates me  I make him carry too many boxes to the door.

I think i may go out with the clippers and trim the hedge and rambling rose around the gate so that the postman can get to my letterbox!!!

 I hope you meant with the arrival of the magazine, and not problems in general, although both would be true!

Especially when it comes to solving puzzles that are out of my "cultural" understanding. I have a sinking feeling this one is going to be if looking at the online version is anything to go by.....

Don't panic! These are mainly still just puzzles.... set in a context that doesn't make any huge demands. Not even people in the UK are all hugely conversant with the intimate details of our capital city, so we don't necessarily have any advantage :o

Yes, that's true, Katsmom - anything you don't know can be found either on the map or on Google.

It came yesterday, while I was retuning the telly to pick up the digital channels. Had a look and started with Paddington.

She's not the only one.
And before anyone asks, it was a complete coincidence that I chose that puzzle to send to Gill, as I had several others available.
