I don't think they had much to do with Maths last time bunnylump. Go on say you'll join in. You can be in charge of sharpening pencils if you don't want to puzzle! (But I'm sure you'll be very good at them)

Nah. I was no help at all with the last ones. I'm not good at team things. Thanks for the vote of support though :D

I've got the team password, but as you pointed out at the top of the thread (I think), I can't remember the username for the googledocs we used last time. I think I can remember the password though.

I don't have the password and I could also do with a reminder for the google docs thingy.

The passwordy details are on the page of the forum that Scurra has set up. It might only be visible to some of us though?

Am I allowed to join in? I don't think I'll be much use but I'm still off school next week.

I don't mind how many weeks they get, I just wish they were the same weeks. :( Three schools within a mile of each other and the holidays hardly seem to overlap this year

Its because you have to go back on the first Monday in September, and thats not til the 7th this year. However, Kirklees schools (near me) are going back on Tuesday 1st for staff and Wednesday 2nd for kids. Thats the only area I've heard of that are doing that though.

And two weeks October half term and finish two weeks before Kingsley next summer and one week before lally, who gets an extra week at Easter and goes back on the 9th Sept. :( A week before the end of term I phoned Kingsley's school to ask when they were going back and they said they hadn't decided yet! How they expect parents to book holidays in the holidays is beyond me.

(Sorry off topic as usual)

Katsmom is here and fed up! After my summer of computer problems at work, they fixed it 3 times. Well this past week I've managed an entire 20 minutes worth of work. The IT guy laughed at me when I said we start the semester on Monday, I NEED a computer. After having a hissy fit and kicking the thing 100 times, I ripped out the box and dumped it on his desk. I'm getting a new computer tomorrow!

Even worse old faithful at home who is only 16 years old is starting to act up. I've not been able to get on nearly as much as I'd like. So being a smart cookie, I bought a notebook on Friday.

If it's not too late, count me in. Although I don't know how much help I'll be. I've got to start typing all that stuff again that was lost when my work computer finally bit the dust. A warning to all, back up your backups. My portable brain box and my backup brainstick were in when the thing crashed. I'm hoping the data can be recovered, but it looks grim right now. A different IT guy called me today and said it looks pretty hopeless.
