No it doesn't. It makes you sound conscientious, silly.

I don't know. Conscientiousness does definitely have benefits. Like remembering to turn up on time at the pub, and being organised enough to remember birthdays and stuff.

And frankly, extroversion is not all it's cracked up to be. Look how often I get myself into dreadful scrapes because I speak before I think??

It's all in the mixture LAT - compare the following bits:
MBH wrote: You scored 2.8 out of 5 for Extroversion

You scored low on Extroversion.
People with scores like your are likely to enjoy their time away from lots of people. Social activities may well leave you feeling drained rather than energised, and your quiet time is probably where you recharge your batteries.

You scored 4.1 out of 5 for Agreeableness

You scored high on Agreeableness.

As a 'people person' you will probably be very comfortable in situations that require teamwork.
I don't disagree with either bit - and using the Internet I can be a 'people person' who is quite content to be alone ;)

Nah, don't be silly. You're one of the most agreeable people I've spoken to. Must be because you are Pisces...

It was the extroversion score which surprised me...

OK looks like you just bagged a job to organise Scurra and me, both of whom are not conscientious at all. In my case, I'll confess that's probably because I am monumentally lazy and scatterbrained. :D How do you fancy getting 110 Christmas cards addressed and sent off for me??

I've just organised the christmas cards - husband printed off address list
.......................................................I checked it
.......................................................he printed off the envelopes
.......................................................I've sorted them into 2 piles to write - his and mine.

Simple

I've just copied your post and printed it out. Then I've highlighted the last bit and left it on the mirror for my husband to see. He is apparently incapable of writing Christmas cards or buying presents...

So was mine until I had that operation on my hand and it's subsequent complications. So now he does his share, though I'm still writing more cards than him.

Ok, so here's my results:
Openness: 3.3
Conscientiousness: 3.6
Extrovert: 2
Agreeable: 3.9
Neuroticism: 3.9

Yep, about the only thing I wouldn't agree with is that it reckons I wouldn't like trying new things. I don't mind trying them, but don't ask me to suggest the new thing to try! Oh, and was pleasantly surprised not to be in the 4s for neuroticism!

As for Christmas cards/presents. I'm afraid I refuse to do any of the cards (buying or writing) for Sigur's family - I'll do all our mutual friends, but I think his family would object to getting a regular card from us, and that's all I write, so he has to go shopping for the individual cards they expect.
Mind you, since Scurra doesn't send any cards at all, I think they should be grateful they get one!

I've nearly finished writing my pile but even if I finish them I'm still not doing his.

WHAT?? You mean I won't be getting a lovely big card and box of chocolates for Christmas??

How strange all your results are in the " middle" Eirian. Must mean you are well balanced. :D

I wrote all but 2 of my cards to be sent off yesterday and got them in the post today. Today I will write all the ones I give by hand (work, church etc). OH writes his family cards and just doesn't send anybody else any.

I haven't even bought all of my cards yet. :( I have worked out how many I will need this year. That's progress at least. (That's me being conscientious ;) )
