I never did make my seahorse Christmas cards. I've ended up towing the line and buying boring cards from M and S. Conforming never sits easy with me, but it was a case of being argued down by my boringly traditional family. I must be getting old and conformist. :(

:D :D

I also tried suggesting we had my own recipe thai chicken curry for Christmas dinner. They didn't like that idea either. So turkey it is. Again. :|

Try what I did Bunny, I dont much like turkey but ate it because everyone wanted it. Then I rebelled. I bought a turkey and a piece of beef (for me and boxing day). The turkey was only picked at. Year 2 I bought a turkey, a piece of beef and a piece of pork. The turkey went untouched. Year 3 I bought the turkey and left it in the freezer. Nobody noticed. Now I don't buy the turkey and no-one dares say a word.

For all those who are in a tizz because xmas is getting closer mine starts on Wednesday - and I've bought nothing yet.
Daughter and grandson arrive on Wednesday, mother Thursday, Son and girlfriend Friday. We have a pantomime, 2 trips to the cinema and a santa claus train ride to fit in as well as an early xmas lunch. They all go away next Monday.

And on xmas day WE will be in the caravan, talking walks along the beach and going to the pub!!! Result.
