Our school is supposedly a "healthy eating" school. So no chips there. Not that I would care about that. However, they nearly had a riot on their hands when they suggested the teachers should not be allowed biscuits in the staffroom at break!

When I give the kids sweets for prizes, I have to tell them that they can only eat them if the Senior Leadership Team aren't looking. I WOULD offer fruit as incentives, however, I don't think that would have the same effect somehow!!

Well, today I've been eating Christmas Cake buns. Imagine Christmas Cake mixture, in a bun case, and you've got just about the nicest bun ever created!!!

So my late night visit here are finished for a couple of days, and I'm out of touch. I'll catch up with you all when I can get my hands on other people's (or public access) computers.

Behave yourselves..... or in Bunny's case.... just Be YOU!!!! xx

I 've not been on for a few days - been buzy with a puzzle more complicated than puzzlebrains, I have been researching my family history for a few years now but this week I was contacted via the Ancestry webside by a distant relative in America - she sent me inormation which links our families via my great grandmothers brother - However she sent me a file and I have been linking the generations. But as ther is a mckenzie in there you can imagine the numbers that I had to put in - in all the generations the same christiam name middle name and surname wes included and as they tended to have large families there was quite a lot of them. What stood out though in both sides a lot of the children died before the age of 5 - it was fascinating but rather sad. I,ve got it sorted out now and sent a file of my side back and we plan to keep in touch. I can now get back to some relaxing (am I mad :o )puzzles.

Today, I've been chopping down most of a pear tree. It was supposed to be light pruning. But one thing led to another and now there's about 75% of the tree in a pile at the bottom of my Grandad's garden, and only about 25% still actually attached to the trunk. Hey ho. Won't be anywhere near as much hard work next year!!!

As long as you've left enough room for the Christmas partridge.

Oh, there's plenty of room for the partridge, just not a lot for it to perch on!

Mmmm skewered partridge?

Today I've mostly bin...
meeting Gill, Scurra and Paulman in London. :D Yes, folks, I made myself get on a train. Twice.

It was all very civilised, we went for a drink and then to a fish restaurant that Scurra knew. Scurra did try to sit as far as possible from me (but fair enough, I had threatened him with a whole world of pain earlier in the day because he had me up at 3am doing a puzzle wrong!! ) I think he was fearing for his personal safety. But I was very well behaved. :D

I had a good day, good to catch up, and it was so nice to meet Paulman too. Gill's got LOTS of ideas up her sleeve - which look fab! :D (I won't give secrets away, but I think you'll like them). :D :D

Honestly, I really was on best behaviour. The worst he got was a jabby finger in the chest. Which was quite mild, really, especially since he just loves to wind me up.

Seriously though, I had a nice afternoon. Thanks all.

Today I've mostly been in pain. It would appear I pulled quite a few muscles yesterday pruning the tree, and am now suffering. I'm also slightly puzzled as to how I managed to pull a muscle at the front of my neck. :?

That could be because the tree is bigger than you and you spent time with your head back looking up at it ;)
