MBH, in my opinion, if you can sleep for that long, it's probably because you need to. I have days where I just can't keep going any longer, and just have to sleep until I wake up. Usually feel much better afterwards.

Yep. It was completely deliberate. I can't cope with any more laughing.

Anyway, Scurra, you're not allowed to have fun there any more. That would mean you going over your stated 4000 posts!

Excellent, thanks. My other main hobby is board game design, and it was a chance for a group of us to get together to play each other's games and generally be rude about them in a relatively "safe" environment. So I played two other really rather good games, and they played my maybe-not-quite-as-good game

Is that what the others said, or your opinion? Surely to goodness you're not suddenly going to get all modest on us are you?

Ah well, now, you made the cardinal mistake of once revealing that you understood them.
The trick is never to give that away - indeed, sometimes the tactic is to ask someone else even though you know the answer :D

Eating a lovely lemon cake that my daughter made me! :D Oh, and drinking lots of wine. Makes a change from spending 13 and a half hours doing coursework, which is what I did yesterday.

And if you call out across the crowded room, so that everyone hears, especially if you end in the vein of "is that right then?" you can start a very diverting discussion, getting everyone involved in the "helping" and leaving them to deal with the enquirer, while you either carry on with your own concern, or look on and listen in amusement, yet at the end, the enquirer will still credit you with the genius of the answer, even if it wasn't the original proposition you called out. This works whatever the subject matter. Sort of.
