Just got back from a few days away and I'm now all set for Saturday (can't make Sunday, I'm afraid). See you all at the Museum of London about 11am.

Gill, have pm'd about lunch - hope it's not too late.

SO sorry I have ended up missing this - I was so looking forward to it. Got as far as Euston before I got the emergency call to go straight back home again.

Hope you all have a fantastic time. And LAT - I still have your prize! Hopefully we'll have another chance to meet fairly soon so that I can give it to you. ;)

Aww, Bunny! I was going to say something stupid like I hope everything's ok, but if you're getting emergency calls then I guess they're probably not. I hope you're ok at least. x

Good to see you've had a nice sunny day for today (those of you who are still there!!) Hope it's all going well!

Sooooo fed up I couldn't be there (again  ). But I am afraid I would have been a bit too wet and watery!

Oh Bunny, we really did miss you - I thought of you especially when we were looking at maps this morning, because you were so keen on that idea ( despite being in the library!!!) -try this : http://www.bl.uk/magnificentmaps/
And yes, the sun shone today when we were inside  :? - after having to dodge the rain yesterday when we were walking around outside. No doubt some pictures will follow.....

The maps look brilliant!! My Dad would love to see them too (he's another mad map enthusiast!!). I did at one point seriously considered cartography as a career...

Thanks to all for making yesterday a really enjoyable day. Thanks to Scurra, LAT and Gill for organising a great day. Was really great to put some names to some faces at long last, and look forward to catching up again in the future.

Bunny - you were missed, and I really do hope we can meet in the near future.

Desperately trying to find that video of Andy Pandy that they were playing at the Museum of London yesterday.........

Just a note to say that I'm home safe and sound :)

Had a couple of days to myself (with lazy mornings and the traditional visit to Hamleys yesterday afternoon) ;)

It was nice to meet Biscuit, and I'm a bit dissapointed that Chazzie was too shy to be introduced by that proper name that I would recognise :( I don't THINK I would of missed a dancing penguin - but there you go.... Maybe the 'forum names' introductions were done when I was late on Saturday morning.

Fantastic pic-nic lunch -[ brilliant :) Even if Looby kept trying to unload hard-boiled eggs on me all afternoon

They were very interesting - and we found a 1677 map of London that covered the area we'd been walking in on the Saturday. So many street names unchanged - so I had them looking for the Barbican

I went back this afternoon and checked out the end of the exhibition we missed, then had a look in the 'treasures' room just up the stairs. This is a building I'll be visiting in the future - wonderful stuff.

YES I missed meeting up with my far-away twin - but you were exactly where you were supposed to be Bunny, and we've got many chances to meet in the future ;) Hope you're in better spirits with all the practical things being taken care of. [EDIT: LAT has my little gift I brought for you. Don't get excited - it's not much :) Hopefully you can meet up and exchange it for her prize]

I had my puzzles on the table all the way home on the train, but seem to have slept most of the journey :( I think I'm getting OLD !!!!
