5?! is he an Einsteinian Relativistic being? His timeframe must move much faster than mine. It must! I'm not that much older than I was when he was born! am I? Happy birthday anyway!

Well I think I was fifty something when he was born but I'm sure I'm going to be 40 on my next birthday so something odd is definitely going on!

Oops! I am a bit late posting my birthday greetings here to my gorgeous grandson - it was great to be able to chat to him directly via Skype on the day itself..... :D :D We also can hardly believe he is five already. Unfortunately, unlike you others, this tends to make us feel even older........

And not only can he read "Happy Birthday" with no problem - but he was able to write it all by himself a couple of weeks ago on a card he made and sent to his Grandad. Well ok, the spelling was not perfect (though not as bad as WOL in Winnie the Pooh) - he did get the right letters, just not necessarily in the right order..... (more like Eric Morecombe and Greig's concerto.....)

Happy Birthday to my very favourite Jester. I've been a totally useless friend and missed the date in time for the post this year.

So when are you coming to get some cake?
