:lol: :lol: :lol: That'd be a surprise for him! Actually, as it happens, on his birthday my niece has organised a 60th birthday gathering for my sister in law for tea and cake at Frithsden Vineyard. So I'll probably escape cake making duties!

Thanks all! My son is home for the weekend and the three of us have just got back from a Chinese meal out. Had a Skype chat with daughter this afternoon too.
I'm quite excited about my son's present to me which is a visit to The Clink at Brixton!

L had to be security vetted before he was even able to apply for a booking. It should be interesting, and by all accounts the food is pretty good.
