What Laura hasn't mentioned is that she wussed out of the fun bit of Go Ape last time I went with her :P

Oy! I did it all the next time though. I'm not entirely sure I'm happy about you coming on here and telling people all my secrets! I have an image to keep up, you know! ;)

Well, I'm sure you will be able to think of some stories to retaliate in due course. ;)

...celebrating a special wedding anniversary - well, not that special I suppose, being only half-way between Ruby and Gold..... but still worth marking!
We are told that it is "sapphire" which is ironical as I had a sapphire engagement riing, which my OH insisted should not be worn any more after our wedding as we had moved beyond "just being engaged" - so it has now been rescued out of its little box and restored to glory on my little finger for display. However, that very explanation reveals that this is now the only finger that it will fit :o ooops.... whoever would dare to suggest that my fingers must have gained weight in 45 years  .
Just about to set out for a celebratory meal :D :D

While we were away we saw some brilliant sand sculptures. Apparently it is an annual festival from May to August and I would recommend it to anyone going to the Algarve. http://www.algarve-beach-life.com/fiesa-2010.html

I'll bet!
I got drenched yesterday trying to buy my son a present for his imminent 21st birthday. And then had the joy of watching 4 police vehicles (plus associated policemen) turn up to a pub in central Guildford where a fight had obviously broken out, when I was sheltering while waiting for my husband to pick me up. This was mid-afternoon and the person proving the greatest challenge to the police was a young woman.

Congratulations Wulfruna and other half. :D
I've got just under three years to go before my 45th and I'm on the look out for a nice sapphire as they are my favorite gem stones.
