Happy New Year from me too!
Re: Happy new year
That candle of hope I looked for at the beginning of the year has flickered from time to time but refuses to give up!
Here's wishing everyone a bright and happy New Year .

It's still hogmanay here, so happy new year everyone. Got Christmas to look forward to this weekend too!
Re: Happy new year
Happy New Year to you all. I have finally managed to get a minute to print the new puzzles and look at them. We have had a busy couple of weeks with Christmas and a wedding.
I was going to put a picture of the new Mr and Mrs "Fernando" in but I can't work out how to post a picture on here.

Open up a new message, then click on the three horizontal lines to the right of "Options" in the bit below. Then choose "attachments". This brings up a box which says "add files". If you click on that, it should open up your explore thingy in your computer, so you can choose a file. Double click on your picture, and you should see it loading with a blue link below. Then click "place inline" and then post your message.

You may want to resize the picture first if it is a very large file.

What a lovely photo of Mr and Mrs Fernando - thanks for sharing. Please pass on my congratulations!
Re: Happy new year
It is indeed a lovely photo!
Congratulations to them both.

Oh wow! Many congratulations to the Fernandos.
(And bewilderment here, how on earth has time happened like that? All these whippersnappers growing up means I must be old, and I'm not prepared for that.)

What SparkOut said. It's extremely disconcerting sometimes...

That certainly was a busy time for you with everything coming at once....
Hope you get a bit of time off now?

I'll wish everyone a Happy New Year.
It could hardly be more weird than the last one, huh? (Hmmm. Did I say that out loud?)

Re: Happy new year
Happy new year everyone! Gosh, that NYE was the weirdest ever. We ended up doing a quiz over Google Meet, we had Toby and Asmaa in Sweden doing us a really fun Only Connect game they had made and the rest of us here, all in our own homes. I've never used that before - it doesn't have a cut off time - we started about 8pm and were still chatting (and indeed, drinking -oooh me 'ead!) until 3.30am!
