Done.
I only asked because she looked so young! And yes, you can tell her that if you like.

Re: Christmas
Bunny, can you send them to me as well? Scurra left his copy at home by mistake when he came here for Christmas - his plan was to have a joint go at them and he then realised that he was so busy packing presents that he forgot all about it...

Re: Christmas
Has anyone else made any progress with these? I confess to being mystified, although I have not had much spare time since Christmas to give to serious exploration. I can't seem to get a grip on any of them.

Re: Christmas
Yes, we've got most of it now. The trouble is that if you look at the Googledocs sheet there are now massive spoilers on there!

Re: Christmas
Yes, and spoilers are very "splat" stuff that means unless you have been part of the process from the beginning, a lot of what is there doesn't make it easy to see what steps led from puzzle to spoiler.
It's like how often feel about MIT Puzzle Hunts when solving alone. Which makes me all the more disappointed that despite being so close to getting a trip to the Euro HQ for the hunt this month with some PBers as well as yopers, I can't make it happen.

Re: Christmas
Well, to get you going, Wulfruna, on the first postcard, look carefully at the text on the back. Do some of the letters look a bit blurry? Next, you'll need to identify the people on the front. Finally, thinking about what job those people do, what could the dates on the back relate to?

I've been thinking that I might actually have time to start looking at these now. At least I know where to go for help if you've solved them now.

There are still a couple of bits I don't get!

Re: Christmas
I suppose I did say this and my progress has indeed been very slow. Is anyone still looking at these or have you all finished them? So far I have a few bits on about three of them but nothing that seems to connect to make anything concrete enough for me to consider it an answer.

Re: Christmas
I sent the postcards to Dibble, he said he had had to look up a first level hint for one - I totally missed that these existed. Apparently they said about it on the back of the envelope they came in. I didn't think to look there!!

Re: Christmas
So, just a quick reminder, folks... remember to keep the fixed smile on when you open the advent calendar and there is no chocolate in it. You are supposed to be enjoying the picture of the robin.

Re: Christmas
I don't even have an Advent calendar!
Has anyone got any suggestions for a good two player game I could buy for my grown-up son. Something also suitable for more than 2 is fine but ideally not a game that can't be played by just 2 people.
ie, a game for adults but not an 'adult' game as such!
