Update on Action Man. He's home now, but reading between the lines is not feeling brilliant and must be very sore. Still, he's eaten, and is at least back in his own bed. Get well soon MBH. ;)

Sparkout, I've just caught up with your news and am sorry to hear about your family's dreadful experience. What an awful thing to happen, and your aunt will need a long term to recover, I guess. The Thora Hird contribution could indeed be helpful in this context.
Yet even now, I am still constantly impressed at the quality of medical provision that is offered by our NHS - and the miracles that go on in hospitals day by day. Nothing can ever be absolutely perfect, however, so tragedies like this can happen - no doubt the medical staff concerned have learnt a hard lesson in the process.....

Hope everyone is feeling better or will be soon.

I'm on "water therapy" now as I'm chronically dehydrated " litres a day is supposed to cure most aches and pains willing to give anything a go at this stage.
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

I'd prefer vodka therapy myself. It'd do buggar all for the dehydration, but you wouldn't feel the pain any more...

psoriasis and Arthritis flaring up - woke up this morning and could hardly move the fingers - it took avbout 2 hours then I could hardly hold a pen - I've got lovely big chubby pens, Its all because it is sooooooooooo b***** wet. If it continues much longer I am trading the car in for a submarine or a boat.

Even snow would be better!

Anyone know where you get second hand submarines
Tricia

Keep well everyone - thake care

my husband's a submarine engineer (RN Rtd) so if you need someone to keep it running I'm sure he'd oblige for a good wage. :D

As reported - I'm back at home, and apart from a hell of a recurring headache (and having to keep the wounds right between my eyes dry - which makes showering a very 'partial' job) I'm OK.

Keep drifting in and out of sleep, but little Jennie thinks all her birthdays have come at once, and is acting as a furry hot water bottle and keeping me company.

Desperatly sorry to hear sparkout's news - very sad :( I hope your Aunt has lots of care and support.

I don't think you want that one. New it maybe but it has some technical hitches.
