Birthday? That was "ago" - right now ambulance is on the way to mum and dad's. He's fallen again, suspect broken hip.
Monkey is on the way over now. Feel helpless and useless.

Oh no! But Monkey's on it and he'll be fab. Your Dad will understand.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery and that all is well.

Oh no! Your poor dad! Hope the hospital treat him well and make him comfortable soon. Your parents are lucky to have Monkey to be there for them.

Monkey is beside himself right now. He spoke to gPa to confirm what medication nanny is supposed to be taking, and he's having a femoral head replacement operation tomorrow morning. He told Monkey goodbye, because he doesn't think he'll make it through op.

I hope the hospital wouldn't be doing the op if they thought there was a risk your dad wouldn't make it. But horrible for Monkey and such a worry for all of you. Thinking of you all Lx

He's back on ward now. Expecting a call in a while to get info. But he's through it at least.
Monkey/brother going to try and see him later on.

Brother has spoken to his nurse as well. She said everything went very well and they will now be doing all the usual observations, but they seem happy with it all.

Why do you suppose I keep asking the Bunny to do picture puzzles for Puzzlebrains?! Even though she keeps protesting that she can't draw...
